Four Gwinnett County residents charged with trafficking in state-wide drug bust

On Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, agents of the GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office, officers of the Newnan Police Department, and deputies of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office arrested four individuals from Gwinnett County at 1001 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, Ga. during an ongoing state-wide drug distribution investigation.

According to a press release from the GBI, agents seized about 5 kg of methamphetamine and 1 kg of heroin. The following Gwinnett County residents were arrested: 

  • Sergio Juarez, 32, of Gwinnett County. He is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin.
  • Ceirra Harrison, 26, of Gwinnett County. She is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin.
  • Pedro Guzman, 36, of Gwinnett County. He is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin. 
  • Paula Garcia, 37, of Gwinnett County. She is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin.

The GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office is a multi-agency unit that consists of the following agencies and services 36 counties: the GBI, Carrollton Police Department, Villa Rica Police Department, Bowden Police Department, Lagrange Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Newnan Police Department, Atlanta Police Department, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, and Heard County Sheriff’s Office.
