Saturday Soiree Success!
… and Second Saturday Open Mic Night was spectacular! So many thanks to volunteers who grilled and smoked our fabulous BBQ, baked homemade cookies and other side dishes, replanted the planters with fall plants to beautify the garden for the Soiree, served during the event and acted as greeters to the hundreds of visitors during our busy and fun day!

Our monthly Soirees are a huge success for us – raising badly needed funds with our BBQ’s, bringing in hundreds of visitors and dozens of workshop participants. It takes a village to host these events … thank you all:

  • Barbara Barth
  • Sandy Blanchard
  • Rebecca Braswell
  • Joe Gargasz
  • Katie Lyons
  • Susan Pelham
  • Stephanie Ruby
  • Maribeth Schmeltzer
  • Carrie and Terry Soles
  • Laura Templeton
  • Cheyenne Quinn
  • Shirely Yagrich
  • Shay Youngblood

MORE THANKS …
And HUGE THANK YOU’s to Grower’s Outlet for donating plants and soil to beautify our planters for the fall!  And also to Animal Care Hospital at Bold Springs.  The BBQ fundraiser would be difficult to pull off without their underwriting. They completely sponsor the BBQ, making it clear profit for us.

We have much to the grateful for.

The Second Saturday Open Mic featured music by Zach Coffman and friends and a reading by Lori Duff from her upcoming humorous book,  If You Did What I Asked in the First Place. Zach launched his EP, Diversity, available at MWCA.

See y’all again at our next Soiree on November 9! Volunteers are always needed – contact us if you’d like to help out.
