Amendment to alcohol ordinance back on Loganville City Council agenda Monday

The work session for the September Loganville City Council is at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019. Amendments to the alcohol ordinance will be on the agenda as the council considers again the recent change that classified beer as food in the 75 to 25 percent split for alcohol to food for restaurants in various areas in the city. The council has made several significant amendments to the the ordinance this year in an effort to attract more restaurants to the area. The meeting takes place in Council Chambers at City Hall, 4303 Lawrenceville Road. The regular September Loganville City Council meeting follows at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the same location. The public is invited to attend both meetings.
