Breaking: Paraglider pilot lifeflighted after crashing on Providence Club Golf Course

Walton County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that an  Atlanta resident was lifeflighted to an Atlanta hospital after crashing a paraglider he was piloting into a yard at the Providence Club. Witnesses reported to WCSO that his engine failed and he clipped a tree as a result. He was the sole occupant of the paraglider and nobody on the ground was injured.

According to Battalion Chief Craig League, it occurred at 10:15 this morning on Hole number 12 of the Providence Club golf course off Bold Springs Road.
