Update: No injuries in Loganville house fire on Old Zion Cemetery Road

Officials say that everybody was able to get out of the house safely in a fire on Old Zion Cemetery Road on Tuesday evening. Loganville spokesman Robbie Schwartz said two people were in the home at the time of the fire.

” The house is considered a total loss. While the fire originated in the attic, the cause is still under investigation at this time. The initial cause is believed to be electrical, but investigators can’t rule out a lightning strike due to the storms that were in the area,” Schwartz said.
