It’s now in its 3rd year and once again all wing cooks and taste connoisseurs are invited to Loganville’s annual Wing Fling. If you’re a cook, your expertise is sought and if you’re a connoisseur, you’re invited to again be a judge in this very popular event. The inaugural event was touted as a resounding success and organizers say it has only got better since then. And again, to be a judge – all you need is a ticket. You can see from this Youtube of the inaugural event, it was a fun time for all.
Scheduled from 1o a.m. until 4 p.m. for May 27, 2017, on the Green in downtown Loganville there are several ways you can participate. If you’re confident in your cooking skills, you can be a contestant. If you believe you know the taste test to select an award winning wing, you can be a taste judge – all it takes is a ticket. You also can be a vendor or you can join the Rotary Club and the City of Loganville as a sponsor.
You’re invited to bring the family and enjoy a day on the Green with food, drinks, music, entertainment and they are promising the best hot wings you have ever tasted. All proceeds from this event go to support the many charities within the community.
For more information on these opportunities, contact either Steve Arnold at 770-466-2666 or Kristy Peters at 404-290-5884. The event is rain or shine because of cooking requirements.
The big question is, who is going to take home the trophy this year? Are your wings the best around? This is your opportunity to find out.
