There are few places in Walton County that portray its early history better than the William Harris Homestead. Anyone who wants to find out more about the county’s beginnings as we continue the bicentennial celebration can do so tomorrow at a special Heritage Day Celebration at the homestead. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, the William Harris Homestead will host Heritage Day in honor of the county’s 200th Grand Jubilee Bicentennial Celebration. Get a hands-on feel of Walton County’s history at the Heritage Day Celebration. Participants will enjoy an array of festivities showcasing life in the 19th Century.
