Callen Moore, public relations officer with the Walton County School District, announced Friday that there are 12 new positive COVID-19 cases reported this past week for individuals in the school district. An additional 93 people are on precautionary quarantine as a result of the new cases. This represents 0.08 % of the school population positive for COVID-19 and 0.59 % in precautionary quarantine.
“The number of overall staff has been expanded to include substitute teachers,” Moore said.
