COVID-19: Georgia 53; Gwinnett 3; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting three more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting 53 more deaths and 3,787 more cases in the last 24 hours.  

Walton County

Cases – 737 – That’s 8 more cases reported in the last 24 hours
Cases per 100,000 – 769.2
Total deaths – 32 – that’s no more deaths reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 89 – that’s 2 more hospitalizations reported over the past 24 hours

Walton County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities (cumulative) No more deaths or cases reported in Walton County nursing homes or assisted living facilities in the last 24 hours.

Great Oak, Monroe – 1 staff member at Great Oaks has tested positive 

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – Gwinnett County) has 1 staff member who has tested positive

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 21 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – That’s three more confirmed cases
The Retreat at Loganville: one confirmed resident case, one reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, one confirmed staff case, no deaths

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that one resident tested positive for COVID-19, one staff member is positive, no deaths and one person recovered. 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 14,801 – that’s 333 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
Cases per 100,000 – 1,558
Total deaths – 216 – that’s 3 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 1,781 – That is 23 more hospitalizations reported in the last 24 hours

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 165,188 – that is 3,787 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 3,158 – that’s 39 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 17,029 – That’s 277 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
Total deaths – 3,495 – That is 53 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 1,407,840 viral tests have been performed and 211,405 antibody tests. That is 25,397 viral test results and 2,808 antibody tests reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 160,626 (10.7 %) have come back positive and 12,875 (6.1 %) antibody tests have come back positive.
