COVID-19: Georgia 30, Gwinnett 5, Walton 0 deaths reported in past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting six more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting 79 more deaths and 4,293 more cases in the last 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 880 – 40 in the past 24 hours and 280 in the last two weeks.
Cases per 100,000 – 918.5
Total deaths – 32 – that’s no more deaths reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 96 – that’s three more hospitalizations reported over the past 24 hours

Gwinnett County

Cases – 16,711 16,255 – that’s 456 more reported in the past 24 hours and 4,065 more cases reported in the past two weeks
Cases per 100,000 – 1,721
Total deaths – 228 – that’s 5 more death reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 1,918 1,886 – That is 32 more hospitalizations reported in the last 24 hour

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 182,286 – that is 4,045 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 3,354 – that’s 54 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 18,303 – That’s 339 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
Total deaths – 3,671 – That is 30 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 1,541,389 viral tests have been performed and 219,867 217,543 antibody tests. That is 28,925 viral test and 2,324 antibody test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 167,410 (10.9 %) have come back positive and 13,886 (6.3 %) antibody tests have come back positive.

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, one confirmed staff case, no deaths

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 7 residents and 4 staff members tested positive for COVID-19, that is 6 residents and 3 staff members reported as testing positive in the past 24 hours
