COVID-19: Fatality ratio Georgia 2.26%, Gwinnett 1.48%, Walton 3.01%

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020. The fatality ratio is determined by the number of deaths against positive cases reported. In Georgia it is 2.26%, in Gwinnett County it is 1.48% and in Walton County it is 3.01%. The current rate of COVID deaths in relation to the population is 0.06% in Georgia, 0.04% in Gwinnett County and 0.056% in Walton County.

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 1 staff member who has tested positive – no more reported in the past 24 hours

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 23 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – 19 recovered – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, 1 confirmed staff case, no deaths – That’s no more staff cases reported in past 24 hours

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 23 residents and 12 staff members tested positive for COVID-19 and two resident death were reported. That is no more resident death, and two more positive resident or positive staff members reported over the weekend.
