The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Walton County is not reporting any more and statewide only one more death is reported. Again, these results should be viewed in the context that traditionally reporting does seem to be lower over the weekend, possibly due to less reporting over weekend hours. Walton County’s 25 deaths reported to date include 14 males and 11 females. Twenty of the victims were over 70, with four of them over 90. One woman and three men were African American and the other 21 were caucasian.
