COVID-19: Georgia 1; Gwinnett 0 and Walton 0 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting no more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting one more death in the past 24 hours.

Walton County

Cases – 2,457 – 8 reported in the past 2 hours – 139 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,457 cumulative (145 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 71 – that’s 0 more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 74.1)
Testing 7.9 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 32,045 – that’s 122 reported over the past 24 hours (1,849 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,312 cumulative (190 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 459 – That’s 0 more death reported in the past 24 hours (47.2 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 7.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 373,078 – that is 1,255 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 6095 – 4 more admissions reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 32,468 – That’s 33 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,194 – That is 1 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 3,733,960 viral tests have been performed and 338,346 antibody tests. That is 18,690 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 348,836 (9.3 %) have come back positive and 31,257 (9.2%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 1,262 (6.8 %) viral tests came back positive.
