COVID-19: Georgia 1; Gwinnett 0; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting no more deaths, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting one more death in the past 24 hours.

(Editor’s Note: The lower than usual numbers are likely due to less reports being completed during weekend hours)

Walton County

Cases – 2,562 – 19 reported in the past 24 hours – 166 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,674 cumulative (173 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 75 – that’s 0 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 78.3)
Testing 8.3 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 33,509 337– that’s 228 reported over the past 24 hours (2,270 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,450 cumulative (234 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 473 – That’s 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (48.7 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 8.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.6 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 386,949 – that is 1,962 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,225 – 5 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 33,241 – That’s 25 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,462 – That is 1 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 3,887,286 viral tests have been performed and 345,943 antibody tests. That is 21,347 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 361,610 (9.3 %) have come back positive and 32,669 (9.4%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 2,030 (9.5 %) viral tests came back positive.
