COVID-19: Georgia 12; Gwinnett 1; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting one more death, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting 12 more death in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 2,739 18– 19 reported in the past 24 hours – 247 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,859 cumulative (258 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 75 – that’s 0 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 78.3)
Testing 9.9 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 35,448 – that’s 245 reported over the past 24 hours (2,973 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,650 cumulative (306 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 485 – That’s 1 more death reported in the past 24 hours (49.8 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 10.4 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 408,644 – that is 2,452 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,414 – 37 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 34,268 – That’s 185 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,648 – That is 12 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

An additional 1,384 Antigen positive cases were reported.

A total of 4,173,943 PCR/Molecular tests have been performed and 357,704 antibody tests. That is 34,434 PCR/Polecular test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the these tests performed collectively, 383,062 (9.2 %) have come back positive and 34,856 (9.7%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 2,426 (7.0 %) PCR/Molecular tests came back positive.
