COVID-19: Georgia 20: Gwinnett 4; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting four more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting 20 more deaths and 1,055 more cases in the last 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 1,681 – 4 reported in the past 24 hours – 202 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 1,754 cumulative (202 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 51 – that’s no more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 53.2)
Testing 9.7 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 10.4 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 25,863 – that’s 63 reported in the past 24 hours (1,697 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 2,665 cumulative (164 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 379 – That’s 4 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours (39 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 7.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 11.4%

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 295,337 – that is 1,055 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions –4,830 – that’s 3 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 26,394 That’s 25 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 6,353 – That is 20 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 2,615.247 viral tests have been performed and 290,730 antibody tests. That is 13,045 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 269,415 (10.3 %) have come back positive and 23,344 (8.0%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 1,068 or 8.2 % viral tests came back positive.

Great Oak, Monroe – 2 staff members and 1 resident (1 reported recovered) at Great Oaks – no more reported in the past 24 hours as testing positive 

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 1 staff member who has tested positive – no more reported in the past 24 hours

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 23 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – 19 recovered – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville: three confirmed resident case, three reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, 1 confirmed staff case, no deaths – That’s no more staff cases reported in past 24 hours

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 21 residents and 12 staff members tested positive for COVID-19 and two resident death were reported. That is one more resident death, one more positive resident and two more positive staff members reported over the weekend.
