COVID-19: Georgia 23; Gwinnett 2 and Walton County 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 1, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting two more deaths, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting 23 more deaths in the past 48 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 2,913 – 27 reported in the past 24 hours – 302 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 3,040 cumulative (315 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 77 – that’s 1 more death reported over the past 48 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 78.3)
Testing 14.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 10.0 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 37,061 – that’s 297 reported over the past 24 hours (3,097 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,816 cumulative (319 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 494 – That’s 2 more death reported in the past 48 hours (50.1 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 9.6 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.5 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 51,476 – that is 2,892 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,536 – 39 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 35,063 – That’s 239 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,798 – That is 23 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

An additional 2,131 Antigen positive cases were reported in the past 24 hours.

A total of 4,338,967 PCR/Molecular tests have been performed and 364,644 antibody tests. That is 24,519 PCR/Molecular test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the these tests performed collectively, 398,641 (9.2 %) have come back positive and 36,148 (9.9%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 2,793 (11.4 %) PCR/Molecular tests came back positive.
