COVID-19: Georgia 3, Gwinnett 1, Walton County 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting one more death and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting three more deaths and 2,452 more cases in the last 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 649 – That’s 4 more cases reported in the last 24 hours
Cases per 100,000 –677.4
Total deaths – 32 – that’s no more deaths reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 77 – that’s one more hospitalization reported over the past 24 hours

Walton County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities (cumulative) No more deaths reported in Walton County nursing homes or assisted living facilities in the last 24 hours.

Great Oak, Monroe – 1 staff member at Great Oaks has tested positive in the past 24 hours

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 18 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – that’s four more confirmed case in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville: one confirmed resident case, one reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, one confirmed staff case, no deaths

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that one resident tested positive for COVID-19, no deaths and one person recovered. 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 13,614 – that’s 170 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
Cases per 100,000 – 1,402
Total deaths – 199 – that’s one more death reported over the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 1,537 – That is no more hospitalizations reported in the last 24 hours

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 144,575– that is 2,452 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 2,829 – that’s 7 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 15,047 – That’s 37 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
Total deaths – 3,176 – That is 3 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 1,273,781 viral tests have been performed and 202,941 antibody tests. That is 18,462 viral test results – reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 133,027 (10.4 %) have come back positive and 11,085 (5.9 %) antibody tests have come back positive.
