COVID-19: Georgia 34; Gwinnett 2; Walton 0 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting two more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting 34 more deaths in the past 24 hours.

Walton County

Cases – 2,439 – 10 reported in the past 48 hours – 146 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,546 cumulative (152 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks
Total deaths – 71 – that’s 0 more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 74.1)
Testing 8.9 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.8 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 31,933 – that’s 146 reported over the past 48 hours (1,830 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,288 cumulative (188 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 458 – That’s 2 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (47.2 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 7.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 370,106 – that is 1,797 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 6075 – 17 more admissions reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 32,317 – That’s 100 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,156 – That is 34 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 3,691,733 viral tests have been performed and 336,077 antibody tests. That is 19,573 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 346,096 (9.4 %) have come back positive and 30,818 (9.2%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 1,522 (7.8 %) viral tests came back positive.
