COVID-19: Georgia 38; Gwinnett 5; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting five more deaths, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting 38 more death in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 2,669 – 23 reported in the past 24 hours – 212 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,786 cumulative (221 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 75 – that’s 0 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 78.3)
Testing 9.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 34,848 – that’s 214 reported over the past 24 hours (2,784 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,588 cumulative (287 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 484 – That’s 5 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (49.3 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 8.5 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.5 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 402,435 – that is 3,053 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,366 – 26 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 34,023 – That’s 126 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,624 – That is 38 more death reported in the past 24 hours

An additional 44,369 Antigen positive cases are now reported with an additional probable deaths of 555.

A total of 4,086,142 viral tests have been performed and 354,407 antibody tests. That is 43,016 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 376,594 (9.2 %) have come back positive and 34,191 (9.6%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 2,971 (6.9 %) viral tests came back positive.
