COVID-19: Georgia 40; Gwinnett 2; Walton County 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting two more deaths, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting 40 more death in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 2,629 – 19 reported in the past 24 hours – 195 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,744 cumulative (204 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 75 – that’s 0 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 78.3)
Testing 8.8 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 34,400 – that’s 253 reported over the past 24 hours (2,586 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,542 cumulative (266 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 478 – That’s 2 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (49.2 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 8.6 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.5 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 396,641 – that is 2,735 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,327 – 21 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 33,778 – That’s 111 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,569 – That is 40 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 4,010,676 viral tests have been performed and 350,070 antibody tests. That is 35,607 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 371,101 (9.3 %) have come back positive and 33,421 (9.5%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 2,553 (7.2 %) viral tests came back positive.
