COVID-19: Georgia 43; Gwinnett 4; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting four more deaths, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting 43 more deaths in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 3,039 – 45 reported in the past 24 hours – 374 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 3,172 cumulative (390 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 78 – that’s 0 more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 81.4)
Testing 16.3 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 10.2 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 38,434 – that’s 559 reported over the past 24 hours (3,835 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,958 cumulative (395 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 510 – That’s 4 more death reported in the past 24 hours (51.6 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 12.7 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 438,300 – that is 5,023 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,642 – 43 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 35,783 – That’s 212 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,922 – That is 43 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

An additional 1,578 Antigen positive cases were reported in the past 24 hours.

A total of 4,435,020 PCR/Molecular tests have been performed and 368,962 antibody tests. That is 38,355 PCR/Molecular test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the these tests performed collectively, 410,848 (9.3 %) have come back positive and 36,979 (10.0%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 4,623 (12.1 %) PCR/Molecular tests came back positive.
