COVID-19: Georgia 53; Gwinnett 5; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting five more deaths, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting 53 more deaths in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 2,994 – 42 reported in the past 24 hours – 329 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 3,125 cumulative (363 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 78 – that’s 0 more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 81.4)
Testing 16.1 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 10.2 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 37,875 – that’s 387 reported over the past 24 hours (3,459 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,900 cumulative (356 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 506 – That’s 5 more death reported in the past 24 hours (51.6 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 11.8 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 433,353 – that is 4,419 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,599 – 30 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 35,571 – That’s 245 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,879 – That is 53 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

An additional 1,628 Antigen positive cases were reported in the past 24 hours.

A total of 4,396,665 PCR/Molecular tests have been performed and 367,023 antibody tests. That is 33,701 PCR/Molecular test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the these tests performed collectively, 406,225 (9.2 %) have come back positive and 36,562 (10.0%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 4,133 (12.3 %) PCR/Molecular tests came back positive.
