COVID-19: Georgia 58, Gwinnett 3, Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting three more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 48 hours. Georgia is reporting 58 more deaths in the past 24 hours.

Walton County

Cases – 2,429 – 9 reported in the past 48 hours – 144 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,535 cumulative (150 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks
Total deaths – 71 – that’s 0 more death reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 74.1)
Testing 8.7 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.8 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 31,787 – that’s 140 reported over the past 48 hours (1,854 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,273 cumulative (191 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 456 – That’s 3 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (47 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 6.9 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 368,368– that is 1,993 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 6058 – 27 more admissions reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 32,217 – That’s 175 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,126 – That is 58 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 3,672,160 viral tests have been performed and 334,992 antibody tests. That is 24,882 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 344,574 (9.4 %) have come back positive and 30,631 (9.1%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 1,868 (7.5 %) viral tests came back positive.
