The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting one more death and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting six more deaths and 1,990 new cases in the past 24 hours. That is a 9 % positive result on the 21,919 tests performed, which also includes 3,134 of the tests for antibodies on already recovered cases.
Walton County’s 28 deaths reported to date include 14 males and 14 females. All but one of the victims were over 60 and six of them were over 90. One woman and three men were African American and the other 24 were caucasian.

Park Place, Monroe – 98 confirmed resident cases, 33 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more death reported and eight more cases reported in past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 13 confirmed resident cases, four deaths

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that one resident tested positive for COVID-19, no deaths and one person recovered. It is reporting that 26 of the 56 residents have been tested.

Total deaths – 2,776 – That is six more deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
A total of 942,033 tests have been performed, 152,220 of them for antibodies. That is 21,919 test results reported in the last 24 hours, 3,134 of them antibody tests. Of the tests performed, 8.2 % have come back positive, 8.7 % positive on active cases and 5.5 % on antibody testing. That is an increase on the 8.1% positive previously.
