COVID-19: Georgia 65; Gwinnett 3; Walton 0 more deaths reported over the weekend

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting three more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths over the weekend. Georgia is reporting 65 more deaths over the weekend. 

Walton County

Cases – 1,739 – 20 reported over the weekend – 135 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 1,815 cumulative (141 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks
Total deaths – 52 – that’s no more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 54.3)
Testing 8.4 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 10.3 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 26,618 – that’s 215 reported over the weekend (1,420 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 2,741 cumulative (146 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks
Total deaths – 391 – That’s 3 more deaths reported over the weekend (40.3 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 6.0 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 11.2%

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 306,155 – that is 1,145 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions –5,002 – 36 more ICU admissions reported over the weekend Hospitalizations – 27,377 That’s 39 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 6,601 – That is 65 more deaths reported over the weekend

A total of 2,750,822 viral tests have been performed and 295,046 antibody tests. That is 15,433 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 282,798 (10.3 %) have come back positive and 24,046 (8.1%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 1,425 or 9.5 % viral tests came back positive.

Walton County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities (cumulative) No more deaths reported in Walton County nursing homes or assisted living facilities in the last 24 hours.

Great Oak, Monroe – 2 staff members and 1 resident (1 reported recovered) at Great Oaks – no more reported in the past 24 hours as testing positive 

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 1 staff member who has tested positive – no more reported in the past 24 hours

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 23 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – 19 recovered – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville: three confirmed resident case, three reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, 1 confirmed staff case, no deaths – That’s no more staff cases reported in past 24 hours

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 21 residents and 12 staff members tested positive for COVID-19 and two resident death were reported. That is no more resident death, and no more positive resident or positive staff members reported over the weekend.
