COVID-19: Georgia 7; Gwinnett 0; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting no more deaths and Walton County is reporting no more deaths in the past 24 hours. Georgia is reporting 7 more deaths and 612 more cases in the last 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 1,597 89 – 8 reported in the past 24 hours – 207 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 1,667 cumulative (216 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 48 – that’s no more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 50.1)
Testing 10 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 10.5 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 25,127– that’s 20 reported in the past 24 hours 
Cases per 100,000 – 2,587 cumulative (199 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 359– That’s no more deaths reported in the last 24 hours (37 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 7.2 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 11.7%

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 283,807 – that is 612 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions –4,687 – that’s 3 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 25,538 That’s 15 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 6044 – That is 7 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 2,488,841 viral tests have been performed and 284,452 antibody tests. That is 9,273 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 259,641 (10.4 %) have come back positive and 22,365 (7.8%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 602 or 6.5 % viral tests came back positive.

Magnolia Senior Living – Loganville – (Gwinnett County) has 1 staff member who has tested positive – no more reported in the past 24 hours

Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 23 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – 19 recovered – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville: three confirmed resident case, three reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths – That’s no more confirmed case in the past 24 hours

Hollander Senior Living, Monroe, 1 confirmed staff case, no deaths – That’s no more staff cases reported in past 24 hours

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab in Social Circle is reporting that 20 residents and 10 staff members tested positive for COVID-19 and one resident death was reported. That is no more residents or staff members reported positive in the past 24 hours.
