COVID-19: Georgia 9; Gwinnett 1; Walton 0 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours

The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting one more death, Walton County is reporting no more deaths and Georgia is reporting nine more death in the past 24 hours. 

Walton County

Cases – 2,567 – 5 reported in the past 24 hours – 168 in the past 2 weeks .
Cases per 100,000 – 2,679 cumulative (175 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 75 – that’s 0 more deaths reported over the past 24 hours (deaths per 100,000 is 78.3)
Testing 8.6 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.7 % 

Gwinnett County

Cases – 33,597 – that’s 88 reported over the past 24 hours (2,232 in the past 2 weeks).
Cases per 100,000 – 3,460 cumulative (230 per 100,000 in past 2 weeks)
Total deaths – 474 – That’s 1 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours (48.8 deaths per 100,000 reported)
Testing – 8.2 % positive in the past 2 weeks, overall 9.6 %

Georgia

Confirmed cases – 387,930 – that is 990 more cases reported in the past 24 hours 
ICU admissions – 6,229 – 4 more admission reports in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 33,265 – That’s 24 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours, 
Total deaths – 8,471 – That is 9 more death reported in the past 24 hours

A total of 3,900,708 viral tests have been performed and 346,476 antibody tests. That is 13,422 viral test results reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 362,565 (9.3 %) have come back positive and 32,804 (9.5%) antibody tests have come back positive. Today 955 (7.1 %) viral tests came back positive.
