Georgia 13, Gwinnett 2, Walton 1 less death reported in past 24 hours
The following is a snapshot of the statistics reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Gwinnett County is reporting two more death and Walton County is reporting a reduction of one death over the three more that were reported yesterday. Georgia is reporting 13 more deaths and 3,441 more cases in the last 24 hours.
Walton County
Cases – 602 – That’s 28 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
Cases per 100,000 –628.3
Total deaths – 31 – that’s a reduction of one death reported in the past 24 hours
Hospitalized – 73 – that’s two more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
Walton County Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities (cumulative) No more deaths reported in Walton County nursing homes or assisted living facilities in the last 24 hours.
Great Oak, Monroe – 1 staff member at Great Oaks has tested positive in the past 24 hours
Park Place, Monroe – 90 confirmed resident cases, 34 confirmed staff cases, 23 deaths reported – that is no more staff member to test positive in the past 24 hours
The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building – 18 confirmed resident cases, four deaths – that’s four
The Retreat at Loganville: one confirmed resident case, one reported recovered, two staff cases, no deaths

Confirmed cases – 131,275 – that is 3,441 more cases reported in the past 24 hours
ICU admissions – 2,736 – that’s 34 more reported in the past 24 hours Hospitalizations – 14,346 – That’s 244 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
Total deaths –3,104 – That is 13 more death reported in the past 24 hours
A total of 1,178,222 viral tests have been performed and 191,262 antibody tests. That is 23,239 viral test results and 4,179 antibody tests reported in the last 24 hours. Of the viral tests performed collectively, 119,761, (10.2 %) have come back positive and 10,071 (5.3 %) antibody tests have come back positive.
