COVID-19: In the last week hospitalization up slightly; deaths are down

At 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Walton County reported a total of 15 deaths with 273 269 cases of COVID-19 and 49 hospitalizations. That is three more deaths, four more cases and three more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours . These results are cumulative. Please note: These figures do not match up when compared to the 19 deaths reported by local nursing homes. It is likely that some of the people who passed away in nursing homes are Walton County residents and are therefore included in the 15 deaths reported in Walton County. However, it is also possible others were residents of other counties.
