COVID-19: Walton cases 12: Georgia death toll 139 ; Confirmed cases 4638 with 952 hospitalized

 12 cases reported in Walton County – no deaths reported at this time

The death toll in Georgia as a result of CoVID-19 is now 139  compared to the 125 deaths that were reported at 7 p.m., on March 31, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. The number of confirmed cases is 4638  of which 952 are hospitalized 4117 of which 885 are hospitalized. This is the latest update just before noon on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Walton County has 12 reported cases and no deaths. However, Fox5 Atlanta News is reporting the case of one person who passed away in a Gwinnett hospital. His wife and son have now tested positive and are being quarantined at home in Loganville.
