COVID-19: Walton cases 13; Georgia death toll 154 ; Confirmed cases 4748 with 1013 hospitalized

13  cases reported in Walton County – no deaths reported at this time

The death toll in Georgia as a result of CoVID-19 is now 154  compared to the 139 deaths that were reported at noon on April 1, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. The number of confirmed cases is 4748  of which 1013 are hospitalized. This is the latest update jus before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Walton County has 13 reported cases and no deaths. Casey Collins and his mother, Shirley, are currently quarantined in Loganville after Collins’s father passed away in Gwinnett Medical Center Saturday. It is unclear at this time how far behind GDPH is in reporting local statistics.
