COVID-19: Walton cases 18; Georgia death toll 208; Confirmed cases 6383 with 1266 hospitalized

18  cases reported in Walton County – no deaths reported at this time

The death toll in Georgia as a result of CoVID-19 is now 208, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. The number of confirmed cases is now 6383 of which 1266 are hospitalized. This is the latest update a little before 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

Walton County now has 18 reported cases and no deaths. Casey Collins and his mother, Shirley, are currently quarantined in Loganville after Collins’s father passed away in Gwinnett Medical Center Saturday. It is unclear at this time how far behind GDPH is in reporting local statistics or if this case was possibly reported in the Gwinnett deaths which currently stand at 8 with 364 reported cases.
