Four cases reported in Walton County – no deaths reported at this time
The death toll in Georgia as a result of CoVID-19 is now compared to the 83 deaths that were reported at noon today, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. The number of confirmed cases is 2683 of which 678 are hospitalized. This is the latest update at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Walton County cases have been reduced to four. It is unclear what caused the reduction of one. There are no deaths reported in the county at this time.
Dr Michelle Plaster said Your Family Health Center will be opening a Respiratory Symptom Testing and Treatment Clinic at the 1025 Church on E. Spring St. in Monroe on Monday to test for COVID-19 as well as other respiratory illnesses.
