COVID-19: Walton cases at 5: Georgia death toll at 80; Confirmed cases at 2651 with 666 hospitalized

Five cases reported in Walton County – no deaths reported at this time

The death toll in Georgia as a result of CoVID-19 is up by one at 80 compared to the 79 deaths that were reported at 7 p.m. Saturday night, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. The number of confirmed cases is now 2,651, of which 666  are hospitalized. This is the latest update at noon on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

Walton County now has five cases. There are no deaths reported in the county at this time.

Dr Michelle Plaster said Your Family Health Center will be opening a Respiratory Symptom Testing and Treatment Clinic at the 1025 Church on E. Spring St. in Monroe on Monday to test for COVID-19 as well as other respiratory illnesses.
