COVID-19: Walton County reporting 1 more death, Gwinnett reporting 1 less

At 7 p.m. on Friday, May 22, Walton County reported a total of 10 deaths with 185 cases of COVID-19. That is one more death reported in the last 24 hours. Gwinnett County is reporting one less. It is not known why Gwinnett is reporting one less, but it is possible that it was a wrong county allocation again, but that is not confirmed.   • Park Place, Monroe – 67 confirmed resident cases, 11 confirmed staff cases, eight deaths reported
  • The Retreat at Loganville Pearl Memory Care Building –  13 confirmed resident cases, four deaths
  • The Retreat at Loganville: one confirmed resident case, no staff cases, no deaths

Gwinnett County

  • Cases – 2,920  –  that’s 38 new cases reported in the past 24 hours
  • Cases per 100,000 – 300.7
  • Total deaths – 121 – that’s one less death reported in the past 24 hours
  • Hospitalized – 552  That is one less hospitalization in the last

Georgia

  • Confirmed cases – 41,218 – that is 555 more cases reported in the last 24 hours
  • ICU admissions – 1,658  – that’s 7 more reported in the past 24 hours
  • Hospitalizations –7, 313 – That’s 23 more hospitalizations reported in the past 24 hours
  • Total deaths – 1,785 1,775 – That is 10 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
  • Total tests – 427,249 – That’s 19,501 more in the last 24 hours.
