Walton County Public Schools and Social Circle City Schools continue to report low numbers of positive cases of COVID-19 since students returned to on campus classes.
“We are pleased to have remained pretty consistent with last week’s low number,” WCSD public information officer Callen Moore said. WCSD reported 12 new cases this week, which is .08 % of the overall school population and 77 additional people, or .5% of the total population, in precautionary quarantine as a result of the additional cases.
Social Circle City Schools had no additional positive cases reported this week and a total of 8 out on precautionary quarantine. That is 0.38% of the total school population out on new precautionary quarantine.
