Each week during football season, Georgia Farm Bureau in Monroe is offering a game ball to the Walnut Grove High School football Warrior who is chosen by the coaches. Last week, Donique Wilson was chosen as Walnut Grove High School player of the game. During the game against Loganville High School, he had 7 tackles, 2 for a loss, 1 pass break up, 32 yard 4th down reception and 6 carries for 33 yards. He had a great night blocking the edge leading the way to 350 yards rushing for the team. The game ball was delivered to him by Farm Bureau Agent Spencer Pilkinton.
Despite going into the final quarter tied at 21, the Warriors went down to the Loganville Red Devils 28-21 by the end of the game.
