Duke’s Market and Nursery will be closing its doors at its present location at 4640 Lawrenceville Road in Loganville at the end of the day on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018. So if you’re in Loganville for the Autumn Fest, be sure to stop by the Duke’s location to see what bargains may be up for grabs. Owner Devon Rifkin says the shutdown is just temporary and intends to build and move to the downtown Loganville area.
“My initial plan was to open the nursery and market simultaneously. My mother got ill in the middle of building which set us back one year. We opened the market but missed two seasons to open the nursery due to this delay.” Rifkin said. “I decided not to open the nursery and currently only use 1 of almost 3 acres of the property I own. We just don’t need all of this property. We are looking at building a new and improved location in the downtown Loganville area in the summer of 2019.”
In the meantime, he is selling off everything that he does not intend to take with him to the new location.
“We will be selling all of our products at 50 percent off all products and a lot of the equipment and fixtures except for the things we know we’re taking,” Rifkin said. “We are selling the playground equipment, water wheel, the decorative truck, swing set, picnic tables, produce tables, limited restaurant equipment, indoor and outdoor fans, hundreds of wood shelves and a lot of other miscellaneous things. We will be closing at the end of the day Saturday and there will be plenty of special deals.”

Rifkin said he is selling the property that currently houses Dukes and is currently in talks with an interested party.
