On Saturday, March 9, from 9:30 a.m. until noon, Hard Labor Creek State Park, located at 5 Hard Labor Creek Road in Rutledge, will hold an Equestrian Work Day.
According to David Guzman, Interpretive Ranger with the park, “We encourage volunteers to bring hand tools such as pole saws, shovels, gloves, and pruners.”
The day will focus on maintaining and improving the equestrian area at the park.
Those interested in attending are asked to sign up in advance by calling the park office at (706) 557-3001.
Snacks, drinks, and other materials will be provided to those who register.
