GWA’s baseball season comes to an end

George Walton Academy’s baseball season came to an end in Round 2 of the Georgia High School State Baseball playoffs when the Bulldogs went down in two games straight to the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans last week. The Trojans now move onto the quarterfinals.

Walnut Grove is also out after being knocked out in Round 1. Loganville High School, however, earned a place in the quarterfinals after besting the Ola Mustangs in three games last week. The Loganville Red Devils will face the Veteran Warhawks in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, May 10. Click or tap here for a link to the Class AAAAA bracket.

The state Championship game is schedule to be played on May 25, 2017.
