Gwinnett PD seek armed robbery suspect wearing rosary beads

The Gwinnett County Police Department Robbery Unit is asking for the publics help in identifying an armed robbery suspect. According to a press release from GCPD, the robbery took place just after 2 p.m. on Monday, July 17. The suspect entered the Metro PCS store at 6330 Lawrenceville Highway in unincorporated Tucker, told the clerk he needed to pay the balance on his account and then pulled out a handgun from his waistband as he approached the counter and demanded all the money. He threatened to shoot the clerk if he did anything crazy. After obtaining the the cash, he reportedly threw the store phone on the ground and left, headed in the direction of Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches, white short-sleeve shirt, dark colored joggers, rosary beads, New England Patriots baseball cap and with facial hair.
