The suspect accused of raping his estranged wife at knifepoint and choking her, Eugenio German, turned himself in at the Gwinnett County Detention Center on September 7, 2019. Gwinnett County Police Department report that he currently remains in custody without bond. According to jail records, he is charged with rape, two counts of aggravated assault, false imprisonment and battery.
(Duluth, Georgia) The Gwinnett County Police Department Special Victims Unit is seeking the public’s help in locating a man accused of raping his estranged wife at knifepoint.
According to a press release from GCPDO, at about 10 a.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute that took place at 1655 Centerview Drive in unincorporated Duluth. Eugenio German, 40, of Lilburn is accused of choking and raping his estranged wife at knifepoint and then chasing her out of the complex and ramming her car with his when she was able to escape.
German has active warrants for aggravated assault by strangulation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, rape, false imprisonment, and family violence battery. He has been living at the home on Park Forest Drive in unincorporated Lilburn.
It is very important that he be located and arrested as quickly as possible. There is a chance he may try to find the victim and commit more violence upon her if he is not apprehended. German is originally from the Dominican Republic. The couple has been married for less than a year and were living in separate homes at the time of the alleged crimes.
