Loganville Christian Academy is planning its in-person Class of 2020 Commencement Ceremony 6.30 p.m. on July 17 at the First Baptist Church in Snellville. Graduating seniors are being restricted to six tickets per student for family attendance. Those being honored will include the Class of 2020 valedictorian Madeleine Tran and salutatorian Grace Kelley.
Madeleine Tran – Valedictorian
Madeline Tran plans to study mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech and hopes to one day work for a big tech company. She is the daughter of Son Tran and Tuyet Huynh and has attended LCA for three years. While at LCA, she has been a key member of the Technology Student Association contributing to the Computer Integrated Manufacturing project taking 1st place her senior year. She also participated in Grad 2 Grad, Chapel Band, NHS, Beta Club, Basketball, and Volleyball and was voted Most Likely to Succeed by her peers.
Grace Kelley – Salutatorian
Grace Kelley plans to attend Mercer University and study molecular biology with the goal of working in a lab one day. She always wants to travel the world! She is the daughter of Paul and Valliere Kelley and has attended LCA for three years. She was named to the “A” Honor Roll each semester and her junior year won the Christian Character Award, as well as the Georgia Certificate of Merit. She has been a member of the Going Green Club, Beta Club, and National Society of High School Scholars. She played volleyball and was named co-captain her junior year. She also was a member of the track and field team.
