The City of Loganville is proud to sponsor its annual Great American Cleanup Dump Day Event from 8 a.m. to noon on April 21. Items will be collected at the Department of Public Utilities, located at 4891 Highway 81 N., Loganville. Those dropping items off are asked to enter the facility off Highway 81 at H.O. Byrd Road.
The event serves as an opportunity for Loganville residents to bring in unwanted items from their home, such as old furniture, appliances or building materials. Tires, paint or any types of chemicals will not be accepted. ID will be required to show proof of inside Loganville city limits.
“This event has continued to grow and enjoy a great deal of success over the years,” said Chris Yancey, director of the City of Loganville’s Department of Public Utilities. “We are happy to provide this opportunity and hope it continues to grow and be successful in meeting a need for our residents.”
Last year, 60 residents took advantage of the Dump Day event, filling up eight 30-yard dumpsters.
