Television and movie crews have been working around the county for a few years now and this week the City of Loganville is getting in on some of the action. Legacies, an American television drama series set to debut on the CW on Oct. 25, 2018, will be filming in the parking lot and in one of the rooms of Whits Inn in Loganville at the end of this week.
“The filming company will be using 147 parking spaces at the Whits Inn and and may need a small base camp for water,” Major Greg Warnack of Loganville Police Department announced at the work session for the City of Loganville Monday. He said it was short notice -the film crew will begin setting up on Thursday and will be filming until Saturday, including all night Friday. “(They will) then break down Saturday and some of Monday. They have hired from LPD for security.”
According to Wikipedia, Legacies is a spinoff from The Originals. It was created by Julie Plec, creator of The Originals and co-creator of The Vampire Diaries. Legacies stars Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, daughter of Klause Mikaelson and Hayley Marshal – a descendant of powerful vampire, werewolf and witch bloodlines. The storyline follows her attendance at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, a haven for vampires, witches and werewolves who are learning to control their supernatural abilities and impulses.
