Loganville Mayor issues ‘shelter in place’ order for city residents

Loganville Mayor Rey Martinez Monday issued a shelter in place emergency order for the residents and businesses in the city limits, except for those required to move about for essential services or businesses required to provide essential services. This order is in place from 5 p.m. today, March 30, 2020, until midnight on April 13, 2020, unless rescinded or extended at that time.

The city has a very detailed order that gives specifics on which services are considered essential for persons to leave their homes and travel as well as essential businesses that may continue operations, provided that social distancing requirements are adhered to.
