Fall is a great time to be in Walton County, even in the year 2020. The weather is great and many cities in the county get to celebrate the fall season in traditional style – with fall festivals – and again even in the year 2020.
Social Circle’s Friendship Festival took place on Oct. 3, the following week Monroe’s Festival was rescheduled for Oct. 31 due to rain.
The largest of the city of Loganville events, the annual AutumnFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17.

AutumnFest celebrates “what makes the community great: good food, great businesses and plenty of smiles – with some dancing mixed in for good measure.” Vendors line Main Street and the TownGreen and, in addition to vendors there is live entertainment. Monroe Fall festival in downtown Monroe – Oct. 31
Next on the list was supposed to the Monroe Fall Festival downtown on Saturday, Oct. 10. presented by Synovus Bank – but that has now been rescheduled for Oct. 31 due to the potential of heavy rain this Saturday. The time has been changed to 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families can come to enjoy the sites, sounds, food and activities in Downtown Monroe. Don’t miss our annual Children’s Costume Contest! Register between 10am-1pm. The Contest will be at 1:00 pm at the Historic Courthouse. Prizes given for the best costume in each age group for the kids’ costume contest. The Farmers Market will be open for the final time for the season from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.
