Each week during football season, Georgia Farm Bureau in Monroe is offering a game ball to the Monroe Area High School Varsity player chosen by the coaches as football Player of the Week.
MAHS’s Player of the Game in their 42-13 rout of East Jackson is Senior Davious “Dee” Branch. After helping the Hurricanes to their decisive victory, Dee was seriously injured in a car crash on Sunday. He remains in the care of doctors at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center.
