Monroe PD Reports: Naked woman found passed out drunk alongside road

The Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period March 16 – 22, 2018. Due to the length, this report has been split into four sections. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Improper Parking, G.W. Carver Dr., resident at apartment was blocked in by resident at apartment# given.  Complainant was able to leave and get to work.  All ok.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, East Tall Oaks Dr., vehicle located from previous dispute.  Dispatch attempted to make contact with the complainant, however they could not reach her via phone. Vehicle was towed by Tall Oaks Management.
  • Dispute, Tanglewood Dr., complainant verbally disputing with roommate over money and wanting her to leave. Complainant informed of civil remedies and roommate voluntarily left the residence.
  • Dispute, West Spring St., Haven Inn, Employee and Manager in a verbal disagreement. Employee resigned from the job and wanted to make sure she could come later this date and retrieve her paycheck. Report requested.  All ok.
  • Traffic Stop, Highway 78 at Jim Daws Rd., male subject stopped for traffic violation.  Male subject was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana along with drug related objects. Marijuana and drug related objects were removed from the vehicle and placed into evidence for destruction. Male subject was issued warning citation for the traffic offense.
  • Damage to Property, West Spring St., reference to a vehicle being damaged. Viewed camera footage, observed a blue Dodge truck pull beside her and a white male exit the vehicle where the complainant’s vehicle was damaged. Unable to get a tag number off of video footage.  Report taken. 
  • Suspicious Vehicle, West Spring St., reference to a Navy-Blue Volkswagen unable to maintain lane with driver on cell phone. Negative contact with the vehicle. 
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Windsor Dr., reference to suspicious maroon in color vehicle being on location. Vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
  • EMS Assist, Glen Iris Dr., reference to male subject overdosing on medication. Subject transported to hospital by Walton EMS.
  • Traffic Stop, Highway 78 at Jim Daws Rd., driver stopped for multiple traffic violations.  Driver denied consent to search his vehicle and the WCSO K-9 Unit was called to the scene.  Once WCSO K-9 arrived, driver advised officer he had marijuana inside of his vehicle. A small amount of marijuana was recovered and placed into evidence for destruction. Driver was warned for the traffic violations and marijuana possession less than 1 ounce.
  • Fraud, South Broad St., Monroe Police Dept., complainant advised someone cashed a forged check in the amount of $4,000 using her bank account information.  
  • Traffic Stop, Highway 78 at Jim Daws Rd., driver stopped for traffic violation. Driver consented to a search of his vehicle and was found to be in possession of 2 schedule IV Tramadol pills that were prescribed to his mother. The pills were placed into evidence for destruction. Driver was warned for the traffic offense and possession of a schedule IV narcotic.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Highway 78E toward Monroe in reference to a red Jeep Cherokee driving reckless. Negative contact.
  • Harassment, North Broad St., Scoops. Officer made contact with complainant who stated her husband saw her at Scoops and kept riding by. She advised she has bond conditions to stay away from him and she wanted to make sure she did not violate those conditions. She also wanted information on seeing her children. Complainant was informed of civil remedies and the temporary protection order process. She was escorted home without issue. 
  • Welfare Check, Reed St., reference to a female slapping a juvenile in the face. Officer made contact with the mother who advised she did slap her child on the rear because he was on a trash can trying to climb on a roof that was already about to collapse. Officer made contact with the juvenile and did not observe any marks. All ok.
  • Scam Report, South Broad St., CVS, reference to complainant wanting to report a scam, she stated she was instructed over the phone to retrieve a voucher from CVS Pharmacy and take it to the Walton County Court House to make payment due to having a failure to appear warrant. She was told if she made the payment she would not go to jail. Report Taken
  • Burglary Report, Wheel House Lane, complainant reported someone broke into her residence and stole four pairs of shoes valued at $800.00.
  • Illegal Drugs, Old Mill Point, turned over to FIT
  • Loud Music Complaint in the area of Turner St., coming from house on Turner Street, music was turned down everything on location ok.
  • Follow-up, Wheel House Lane, complainant located a brick responsible for the broken window.
  • Suspicious Persons, West Spring St. (It’s Fashion) Complainant believed four males were attempting to shoplift. Made contact with subjects and checked vehicle. No items.
  • Fight, Harris St., upon arrival crowd in the area negative on fight call.  Spoke to people in the area no fight taking place.
  • Suicide Attempt, Cook St., female subject took 12 Lortabs.  Transported to Clearview.
  • Suspicious Person, Matthew Park, Avis Dillard was arrested for a probation violation warrant and possession of marijuana.
  • Unknown, Page St., reference to female subject drunk on the side of the road and naked.  Turned over to EMS.
  • Domestic, Nowell St., reference to mother wanting her son kicked out. Advised on options.
  • Domestic, Manor Place, complainant wanted information on a TPO after a dispute with named male subject.
  • Prowler Report, Stokes St., reference to complainant seeing someone in woods behind her house. Checked area with negative contact
  • Dispute, Pine View Dr., reference to female subject continually showing up to her ex-boyfriend house. Criminal Trespass warning issued to female subject.
  • Traffic Stop, North Broad and Sorrells St., vehicle pulled into Sorrells St. and driver ran and was not found. Passenger arrested for warrants out of Loganville and possession of cocaine.
  • Suspicious Person, Pine Park St., Negative contact with anyone in a red pick-up knocking on doors in the area. 
  • Illegal Parking, Unisia Dr., Walmart DC, reference to two truck drivers disputing over parking, situation mediated everything on scene ok.
  • Hit and Run, West Creek Circle, reference to a parked Tractor Trailer was struck by an unknown driver.  The vehicle is possibly a 2002 to 2005 gold Cadillac DeVille.  Checked the area and could not locate the vehicle.
  • Citizen Assist at Monroe PD., reference to Father looking for son who was locked up in Social Circle. Told he was locked up at Walton County Jail
  • Dispute at Reed Court in reference to complainant stating a male subject was riding down the street past his home harassing him. Made contact with male and advised him to have no contact with complainant.
  • Juvenile Complaint Tanglewood Drive Apt., Young children fighting.  Situation mediated by the parents.
  • Dispute at Walker Drive in reference to mother disputing with her son. Mother stated her son was being disrespectful to her, she stated he broke her phone and hit her in the face with his hat. Son was gone when officers arrived. The neighbor stated he heard yelling but did not witness the incident. Son contacted dispatch and advised he was at Atha street, contact was made with son he stated his mother was being verbally abusive to him and his children, he stated his mother threw her phone causing it to break. Son stated he did not strike or put his hands on his mother in anyway. There were no marks on the mother. Report taken.
  • Dispute East Marable Street – Hot Spot – Two subjects were issued criminal trespass warnings after a dispute with a manager over their children on location.
